I think mobs are the most incomplete feature of the game, but am excited to see what they do with them in the future. Everything else has been pretty well loving thought out and executed; I'd imagine they will improve.

Do you wipe and restart every time a major update comes out? I've been playing 7 Days To Die for years now, and actually look forward to starting over. Without fail, the first half of every survival / sandbox game is my favorite part. I can understand not wanting to start new on a game as sophisticated as this, just wanted to hear what you do.

What's the absolute fastest way to get across the map? I was super disappointed with hypertubes; I get that it goes faster the straighter the path is but still seems sluggish compared to jetpack and blade runners.

I unlocked phase 4 (tiers 7&8) for the first time last night. My god, it's like getting to the last boss of game for the first time and finding out it has twenty different phases and you still need to grind for a couple of days before you can even begin to chip away at the first form.

Satisfactory has an amazing systems in place to streamline construction but they are not taught to the player, at all. I found out about valves/junctions/splitters snapping to existing lines purely by accident, like I'm sure many folks did.

The forest is the best starting point IMO, so many pure / normal nodes so close to the spawn. Off the top of my head there's four pure iron, two pure copper, a pure craterium, two quartz, and like five normal coals. Sulfur and oil aren't too far away. The only roadblocks are lots of mobs and uneven terrain (but that's easily overcome with a shitload of foundations).

I think I'm going to pass on playing experimental for now; I just got past Phase 6 for like, the fourth time and I'd like to see this save game through. I've finally developed a building style that I genuinely like working with; and blueprints don't really appeal to me. Maybe if they let us do something with all these alien artifacts...
