The tide is turning for the Memphis Express. The switch to Zach got them into the win column. Today, they must trounce the similarly hapless Atlanta Kings and start to climb their way back up the division standings. They may not be able to catch the mighty Apollos, but I have faith they can secure that wild card spot.

I love minor league teams because they are just so reliant on team names and uniforms to catch attention. I can say I wouldn't care half as much if there wasn't team names like the Memphis Express and the San Diego Fleet.

I was loosely using the term "wild card" to mean the 3/4 seeds, the terminology is a little unclear with just 8 teams. I think it is going to be a 4-team playoff though.
