Endless Eight is a unique and vaguely surreal experience. I have no idea whether or not I would recommend it to anyone but I'm sort of glad I watched it for reasons that I can't explain.

It's been a while since I watched, but there's an argument to be made that Endless Eight provides a big portion of the context that gives Disappearance its emotional punch, especially the really meta bit with Yuki at the end.
