I'm pretty sure that no object in this game has innate characteristics except for cosmetic ones, like if someone made an object randomizer every puzzle would work exactly the same. It's so good.

This is very true, and something to keep an eye out for; I've already been tripped up for a few minutes on a puzzle where there was a barrier of water when water didn't have any definitions. (Also sometimes seemingly harmless things will be lethal) If there's ever any confusion, the pause screen has a list of currently-active statements. BABA IS DOG?

I'm not very far yet (saving most of it for a long plane ride in May), but my favorite so far is the poem level ROSE is RED, VIOLET is BLUE, FLAG is WIN, BABA is YOU, just because it's cute. It was fun to figure out too, but that applies to most of the levels so far.

But there must be something we're missing. I also have no clue about level 12 and E in that area so I've moved on to the Flower Garden, where I've just been introduced to two new verbs back to back. the main argument against BABA IS SHEEP is that sheep generally aren't well known for having big upward-pointing ears or being able to rewrite the laws of reality by pushing words around i'm fine with baba just being some sort of ambiguous critter e: in fact, "baba" is frequently what toddlers call stuffed animals and the grammar ingame naturally winds up sounding sort of childlike so BABA being some sort of ambiguous stuffed animal creature seems pretty fitting President Ark fucked around with this message at 00:29 on Mar 16, 2019 |

Without looking at the art for the game jam version of BABA, I just didn't see any solid evidence against the BABA is SHEEP theory. Having seen BABA's original form, however, while it could have been intended as some kind of weird anthropomorphized sheep, I'm less convinced than I was. Tiny Island is a jerk. I can get a couple keys like I did for the level before, and use them to move "is YOU" horizontally, but once I use a key to open up a hole above "WIN", I can't do that anymore, and I think I don't have enough space to have "X is YOU and" in position above "WIN" in advance. What am I missing?

I feel like I'm missing something unfathomably obvious about Evaporating River, as far as I can tell the only blocks I can move are the text blocks and the cog, and that I need all 4 of those in a row to shove the FLAG block into the IS WIN pile, but I don't see any possible way to stop the water from being HOT other than turning it into SKULL which is unhelpful, or any possible way to stop COG from being tied to AND MELT.

You don't need all 4 of those to push FLAG to IS WIN. The SINK property means that an object will annihilate itself and another object it overlaps Text blocks are objects themselves Actual solution: Push the WATER, IS, and SINK text to the right of the river and make the WATER IS SINK rule horizontally. Push this to the left, so that WATER goes into the river and sinks, destroying WATER and a block of water. Add IS SINK vertically below COG, to form COG IS SINK. Push the cog into the leftmost skull, using the landbridge created when you sunk WATER in the water.
