My wife owns the original dark box set and we've got 2 EoEs and a Death/Rebirth between us. What's this about the sets being expenseballs? All my ebaying turns up stuff in the $75-120 range for the set and like maybe $40 for the films

It's not like the original subs and dubs no longer exist. This season did not have the shows I was expecting in it, I've got my seasons muddled. I'll watch the dumbbells show and whatever gets buzz itt

Granbelm has an excellent staff behind it, but I don't like the mecha design. Those SD proportions make every action scene look like really inept miniature-work in an old sci-fi movie - the giant robots don't look 'big' no matter how big they actually are on-screen.

Rimuru seems like a perfect fit for a second season. It's actually kind of hard to think of another good Isekai that would be appropriate for a light-hearted jokey setting, i.e. Not-Shield Hero. Number 1 choice: Now and Then, Here and There.

To me this was by no means indispensable but it was fun to see Tanya, Subaru, and the Konsuba crew dick around for a while. The Konosuba and Overlord characters get the most spotlight if that matters to you.
