We’re gonna have Birmingham @ Orlando two weeks in a row.

Birmingham @ Orlando is the Eastern Conference Title game (I'm guessing that's how the seedings work) I wonder if either team rests starters in the last two weeks

Orlando has the talent to burn them hard but I wouldn't be super surprised if those games are closer than you might think

Nice deep shot there. The crowds have actually been better at other stadiums recently, which were basically empty at the start.

Kinda off topic, but did we ever get an explanation for the team names? Like what the hell is so legendary about Atlanta? The Apollos I assume is due to the rockets? And Iron makes sense since they are in Birmingham, but some of the rest of the team names I don’t really get.

The name and colors (purple, gold, white) are tributes to famous historical figures from the city, such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Hank Aaron.[4][5] a hotshot is a firefighter that does... stuff. and in arizona it's widely known because they had a bunch of them die. and made a movie about it

With Arizona being such a second half team if the Commanders continue not to be able to do poo poo, this could be a blowout. And an Arizona win keeps their division wide open. Should be fun.

Fleet obviously is because of the large navy presensce in San Diego, Stallions I assume has to do with Utah being a former frontier state with a lot of ranching and general horse riding

Hot Shots were some kind of specialist firefighters in Arizona. There was a very tribute one game that explained it and managed to be ok. San Diego has a big rear end naval base San Antonio something something Alamo
