I am pretty sure any man living in the world of Demon Slayer with loving demons murdering people left & right would love a women who could fight back. So it just seemed really poorly written or thought out by the author. Specifically, men don’t want to marry her because her strength, appetite, and hair make her unladylike. Men are loving stupid and have absurd standards for how women should look and act, and honestly her backstory is completely believable and the most down-to-earth. Plus, it was nice to see someone’s past trauma not being related to their family getting wiped out.
