Seriously, I think the important thing to take from dialectics is that the synthesis comes into existence only because of both the thesis and antithesis. For example, when socialism wins, it won't only be because it's just an inherently better way to think about the world; it will also be because we absorbed the lessons of the failures of capitalism.
