Course seems to have gotten easier as the day has gone on. That's pretty normal, though.

I honestly think he’s so good in majors because he doesn’t get wrapped into the mystique like so many other players and just bombs and gouges his way to wins.

It’s kind of like Tiger’s first Masters win, he was so much longer than everyone that he rarely had to hit more than a mid-iron into the par 5s and was hitting wedges into the par 4s.

Afternoon players had a leg up it seems. Phil did what he had to do to have a chance. He's got to put low numbers early here, I think he's likely to fade on the weekend, Tiger, too.

Dechambeau looked like he really knew the course today. His last three holes were beautiful.

My gut feeling is that Bryson will think himself out of a few majors until he starts to trust feel in his game instead of the pH of the sprinklers and the ambient humidity. Conditions tomorrow are supposed to be similar to today so we’ll see how it shakes out with the tee times flipped.

I thought about going with Fleetwood over Casey because he’s more consistent and not prone to missing cuts.

I chose... poorly.

I really like how they are doing the featured groups on masters.com. Better presentation with a single featured groups channel rather than the individual ones in the past. Less downtime.

The dude is knocking off majors for a reason. He is also way mellow even after a bad shot and never freaks out and starts talking to himself and tossing clubs. I mean DJ is sort of the same way but still has that black cloud of potential bad luck following him.

The US Masters is my yearly immersion in American culture. People with names like Brooks and Bryson, ‘right there’ being added to the end of every sentence for no particular reason and just now the commentator said that Justin Rose was ‘efforting to try’.

The early numbers look very similar to yesterdays early numbers. Hopefully the 2nd half of the day posts lower scores.

I think they should shout This one's for the rear end in a top hat that keeps yelling 'in the hole', but that's a lot to hollar.

Huh, i didn’t notice that much of a break, it seemed like if he didn’t overthink it he had a really good shot at getting the birdie.

7 seemed a little tougher though and he almost got that one.
