Something I noticed this episode is that they have not taken any steps to modernize this story. The whole plotline about Yuki and Kyo having trouble finding Tohru's house in the smartphone era would be very different.

Tohru probably doesn't have a phone because she sold it to be a tent hobo

also I'm pretty sure Smartphones would be a zodiac's worst nightmare cause ain't nobody wanna deal with animal selfies, so they just have a moratorium on that poo poo. Nobody in the Sohma clan has any modern tech (besides Shigure's sweet TV)
