Copkiller (Italian: Copkiller (l'assassino dei poliziotti)),also released as Corrupt, Corrupt Lieutenant, and The Order of Death, is a 1983 Italian crime thriller film directed by Roberto Faenza and starring Harvey Keitel and John Lydon, the lead singer for the bands Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd. It is based on Hugh Fleetwood's 1977 novel The Order of Death, with a screenplay by Fleetwood, Faenza and Ennio de Concini. The music was composed by Ennio Morricone. The plot follows a psychological cat-and-mouse game between a corrupt police officer (Keitel) and a disturbed young man (Lydon) against the backdrop of murders committed by a serial killer who is targeting police officers.

Why have I never heard of this movie?

I hadn’t either until I got the poster. I have a feeling it’s completely terrible but probably still worth checking out

Well I've got a mess of old comics I could post, as well as some old LP covers, I've just been busy with my "Gon-O-Mon" thread.

This is a couple of examples, might post later. But yes, hope everyone is well too.

😌Finally, an avatar the describes my love of tech❤️‍💻, my love of anime💖🎎, and why I'll never see a real girl 🙆‍♀️naked😭.

This makes me think about and wonder how many magazines existed in that razor's edge of "On-topic enough to not be shrink-wrapped porno or set off any alarms if someone bought it" but "lax enough editorial policy to allow titties". Didn't High Times have a section with some tasteful nudes as well?

Before the whole Moral Majority backlash era there were boobs in PG movies and small town theaters showed hardcore porn at night. I imagine news stands just varied in how much stuff they put where kids couldn't browse it easily depending on local standards.

If I recall correctly, Easy Riders was in a plastic bag to prevent any underage browsing. Some tattoo mags did the same thing.

I remember a lot of blatant nudity on magazine covers at the newsstand in the 80s, early 90s.
