I just watched episode 7 of season 2, where they do the “capture the headband” thing. All of the Cobra Kai people are comfortably wearing long sleeves, sweatshirts, and light jackets, while the Miyagi-do students suffer through a heat wave. Miguel and Robbie’s paths do cross at the end, suggesting these happened the same day.

I’m halfway through the season, having fun. Chozen beating up Barnes’ employees as a gag was a little over-the-top even for this goofy-rear end show. I thought the swelling dramatic music during a pepper eating competition was a little silly, and then I got to the dramatic water slide race.
