So it's been a few seasons since I oathed anything, but now that I've got brushes and paint I'm back on the wagon! I, Icon of Sin, oath to paint the following model:  This is a Cacodemon from the Doom 2016 board game, but I'm going to shoot for A faithful Replica and do it in the OG Doom scheme. OG scheme:  There are a few differences between the new model and the old sprite, but I'm going to try and veer as close to the original as I can.

So, I’m going in hard for July  I, Icon of Sin, oath to paint the following models: 1x Rebel Pathfinders squad, 6 models total (going to try and Take One for the Team here) Jyn Erso (commander; going for Recipe for Success here; she’s also the commander for the army the Pathfinders are going in) 4x Rebel Specialists (an officer, a medical droid, a All by FFG, for Star Wars Legion.

Oath complete! Take One for the Team: These are a squad+ of Rebel Pathfinders, alongside their commander Jyn Erso. The Pathfinders are described on their unit card as being present at the Battle of Scarif, which Jyn helped orchestrate. There isn't a Cassian Andor model just yet (  ), but when/if he ever comes out I'll add him to the entire Scarif mob I'm building for my Legion rebel army. Both are by Fantasy Flight Games, for Star Wars: Legion. I’m also feeling a Need for Speed here, with the 5 normal snowtroopers (all of them, minus the 2 with a flamethrower or an ion cannon)

Oath complete!  Work in progress pics:     I'm...not entirely satisfied with it, but painting white turned out to be a bigger pain than I had remembered. That said, it's perfect from across the table. I tried to fake his grey-ish hair by putting down a light grey, then doing a zandri dust on top of that, then a wash beyond that...and it seemed like it worked out alright. I was on the fence about even doing a wash on him, but I went with it...then ended up going back over it with the white anyways.

I uh...don't have much patience for waiting, apparently OATH COMPLETE  I tried to free-hand some gold stripes on top of a black strip to mimic hazard trips on his jetpack for the monthly challenge (looking at A Pattern for Success), but...not entirely sure how it turned out.
