Oath Complete!. Whew, close one this time. Played around with a ton of new techniques / materials on this one and underestimated how long it would take to fiddle with everything.

Claiming Heavy Damage for all of the painted dings and scratches / oxidation effects.

Also claiming Spic and Span for organizing my random pile of supplies while I waited for varnish to dry. Actually underestimated how many paints I'd collected, so I'll probably have to buy another rack in the not-too-distant future.

Claiming Through Thick and Thin for the fur texture.

This was a fun mini even though it involved a lot of struggling with the soft Bones sculpt and mushy detail. Even drybrushing the fur was a pain in the rear end because the detail was so shallow that it just filled everything in. Tried to compensate by pushing painted textures and volumes wherever I could. Definitely a learning experience!

Thanks! I wanted to see if I could keep a winter-y feel while using as many warm tones as possible to go for a kind of cozy feeling, so hopefully that came through a bit.

Well it's fortunate they all look great then. ;)

Thank you! These are the first things I've painted since middle school and I've been learning a ton from the people here.

Echoing the thanks to the judges and OP for keeping this thread going - it pretty much single handedly got me back into the hobby and seeing all the great painters in here is really inspiring.
