 I feel like Ken Penders is the comic book counterpart to wrestling's Vince Russo in terms of batshit writers who somehow got way too lengthy a stay in charge and are fun to make fun of in retrospect.

Hell, Penders treats the Sonic part of Sonic the same way Russo treats the wrestling part of wrestling.
