Yes, that's correct. I would guess that like many/most of us, myself included, the showrunners assumed (guessed? hoped?) that the snap would be undone by changing history and retroactively undoing Infinity War's ending, in which case the one-year time jump for S6 would have allowed them to nicely sidestep the whole "how do IW/Endgame fit into AoS" question. But that's not what Endgame ended up doing, and because AoS attempted to tie into Infinity War at the end of last season, the timeline for the show is now completely impossible to reconcile with the film MCU.

anyway, it's not all connected, doesn't really matter for AoS' own storylines, so just roll with it I guess

Nah! "In some areas of space, time passes differently" or "The ship travels so fast, time dilation" or "Whoops, time warp" or "some kinda multidimensional hooby-hoo"

Yeah, I was hoping this Fitz would have a little easier time of it, and get help before he went super dark, but then the last few seconds of the episode happened, and now I'm hoping the FitzSimmons that they and we all deserve, the full-on supervillain power couple happens.

Cramped quarters in a place with a lot of rusty pointy bits around is like A++ get wrecked by May turf, as the Evil Sliders found out this week.

Fitz storyline is also good! I hope they only pull the ships in the night play once, though.

Something that occurred to me is how hard these guys are going to get dunked on when Team Space Quake gets back. Dimension-hopping baddies with vibration-based technology vs Daisy and FitzSimmons.

Here's hoping they have something approaching a good reason for what they're doing.

Since Terrans don't leave the earth very often, the galactic community only see exceptional examples, and probably has a pretty specific view of them.

Let's look at a list! (I'm assuming we've all seen the movies at this point.)

- Captain Marvel: Has been kicking space rear end for decades. One of the most powerful individuals yet seen in the movies.
- Starlord: Unexecptional pirate and artifact hunter, but saved led a group that very publicly saved the galaxy once, and much less publicly a second time.
- Daisy Johnson: Has been in space six months, is scary enough to show up on as a threat in some kinda galactic database. Dumpstered a strike team while tripping balls.
- Fitz: Killed the controller, defrauded a casino multiple times, cut a man's arm off to use to apply his blood, which he used as an incendiary to escape capture, is wanted by the chronicoms for "breaking time"
- Simmons: Enhanced interrogation, spacedrugs.
- Piper and Davis: Well not everyone's been a space badass, yet.

And these are only the ones we've seen so far. There's bound to be more!

Oh - not counting Infinity War - they really didn't see anyone outside of the plot.

Simmons is a cheerful, friendly cinnamon roll who will:
- Hang people upside down and tell them how that's going to kill them in great detail
- Not just kill, but gruesomely kill an LMD of Fitz
- Lie convincingly enough to beat Mockingbird
- Deal with the whole underwater shipping container thing by going undercover to infiltrate Hydra
- Disintegrate enemies that have particularly annoyed her
- Decide she's immortal, and start taking amazing risks because of it
- Jump out of an airplane to keep from blowing up her friends (really, was just kinda an amazing move)
- Not be shaken at all by entering the Framework by digging out of her own grave.

Now I'm hoping to see two things by the end of the season:

1) Daisy quaking Izel so hard she blasts off again like team rocket.

2) Izel using the orb to summon FitzSimmons' worst nightmares, them warning her that it's not going the way she wants it to, and then being correct.

I keep hearing this but those first episodes I watched were soooo bad. Like they'll gently caress up and kill all these mooks, but "No, we can't Murder Vandal" bullshit. Okay, he regenerates, great, chop him up, box the parts and drop them in different volcanoes.

It's hard to imagine the first season of LoT while watching the third. The attitude shift through the second season is significant. They kinda drop the "This is a serious show about superheroes" angle and go hard on Time Idiots.

I guess I'd describe it like this. AoS got into their groove on at "Turn Turn Turn". LoT was never going to have that episode, so they skipped to Space Vegas and Chopping Mall homage episodes. The only real reason AoS and LoT couldn't do a crossover at this point is that the Legends abhor crossovers as a plot point.
