Something a little special. The Norwalk folks seem to be looking into making actual episode like recaps for their last event in July. Seems pretty enjoyable so far. That's good, I could never handle the full streams and the individual fights were just annoying to watch as you didn't know what order they were in and they never seemed to use playlists for them. Also, that floor needs sorting. Half the fights are people doing nothing because they're stuck on the floor.

I love Norwalk's 12 and 30 division but the beetles dominating the broadcast time is rough to watch. A hundred beetles and 90 of them were fingertech vertical spinners that turned into mediocre shovers in a couple of hits.

Pretty much all of the England teams were unable to travel to the US. The team behind Warhead was in one of Scorpios vlogs a couple weeks ago (although they didn't bring Warhead). Team Minotaur was able to travel and should be part of the season. Paul Ventimiglia of Biteforce seems like he is trying to get more money to make Battlebots more "sustainable." So his team is not at the event for this season... but maybe he will do it for the next season

Not sure if anyone actually cares too much. But the NHRL league is going to be streaming pretty much all day Saturday. A bit smaller of a field than the last couple events. About 70 3lb bots, Eight 12lb, & Seven 30Lb bots in the field. At least a couple of the Battlebot teams that are usually there are not on the list (Most obvious seems to be Jameson Go with his Silent Spring / Silent X bots)... But Battlebots pretty much just finished filming a couple weeks ago, don't think there is an official date for the new season to air though... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McNXHRM9n4I

Thanks for linking this up; I ended up watching a whole lot of the older material including an interview about how Biteforce's motors are reinforced during construction, they have a method to disassemble the whole thing and recalibrate it after. They seem to have so much drat fun working on their robots and meeting up with the other builders. There are some bits about the new Tombstone and their workshop in there, also, plus Malice and Gigabyte.

passed by vegas recently and saw the huge battlebots tent they have setup. incredibly psyched to see robots explode and kill each other in increasingly insane ways. sad that chomp isn't around though, maybe rusty will come back next year built-up with millions of dollars in Secret R&D Cash and in the form of a multi-legged killer robot that lusts for blood.
