this looks super-alien but i do rather like the effort. the lowercase 's', both italic and not, seems really visually off though.

oh i forgot to :actually:
the word you're looking for is typeface, op. a font is a combination of typeface (e.g. garamond), size (12 points), weight (bold, semi-bold) and style (narrow, italic, etc).

also the real fucktard font is this abomination - apparently you can embed almost anything in font files these days, and there's even multi-level embedding like GIF-in-SVG-in-OTF. apple apparently lets you embed PDF in font files for some nice recursive bullshit. windows doesn't do font rendering in a kernel driver anymore, does it?

they should design a font that can't be erased properly without leaving pixels behind so if you gently caress up you're better off just deleting the file and restarting

I wish computers worked different so that when you viewed code it had to be in the same font as the person who wrote it.

theres a few for vs code (which i think are cross comp with vs) that also add indent depth coloring and show matching brackets in the gutter by the line number. between all those it makes it so much easier for me to skim that collapsing brackets is detrimental for quick code skimming
