Catch-22: A well-acted drama that does a really good job of showing that war is serious, hellish business. I'd be into it, if it weren't screwing up my favorite book. I mean, who plays Catch-22 straight? It's an impressive level of missing the point. I think Catch-22 is challenging but adaptable, but this ain't it. Also, Doc Daneeka was awful.

Yeah, it is very well executed, and very much not like the book. Except Daneeka just couldn't do the dialogue. Turns out he's one of the directors. But literally everyone else acted their balls off.
