Savage Melee is loving crazy on a Brute if you've got a set that gives you extra +recovery. I solo street swept my SM/Bio from 20-22 in less time than it took me to IO out at 22. Those DoTs are no joke.
It is nuts. I got lucky on Superpack draws and got four of the Unrelenting Fury set including the Rech/Chance for -Def one. Plopped them right down on my Savage/Rad and watched mobs melt.

You just reminded me about something I had completely forgotten about. Near the end, we had a ton of recipes for limited use stuff like guns and baseball bats. Are those even a thing on Homecoming? I haven't seen a single one drop yet. If they're available, you could keep remaking those guns whenever you use one up.

Well, Homecoming did the impossible. They made Time Bomb not completely suck.

Powers - Devices
Changed Web Grenade to Toxic Web Grenade, now deals scale 1 toxic DoT and can be slotted for damage
Taser: Recharge reduced from 20 to 10 seconds, duration reduced from scale 10 to scale 5, damage increased from 0.25 to 1.96 (same damage as Energy Punch)
Time Bomb: Animation is now 2.77 seconds, interrupt time removed, countdown reduced to 5 seconds, defiance values reduced to match (this only applies to this set, not to the Traps support set versions.)
Trip Mine: Interrupt removed. Cast time is now 2.77 seconds. Recharge increased to 30 seconds.
Targeting Drone now gives your first attack from out of combat a Built-Up effect (80% damage) and continues to provide a 20% damage buff while in combat.
