That is one excellent sounding M60! What's left on your list of "little things" to fix?

The lack of nitrous?

Thanks all!

List is:

Oil leaks - valve cover and -an fittings - just fixed this!
Test for exhaust leaks
Burn a custom chip - I bought all the bits for this!
Test the cooling system - had some leaks, pretty sure I just had some air bubbles
Paint valve covers
Add additional heat shielding
Add front strut bar
Change diff from 3.46 to 3.25
Paint valve covers
Refurbish cluster
Trace O2 wiring
Smoke test for vac leaks (idles at 1.1k)
Fabricate a proper intake
Make a custom muffler for use in long road trips (its LOUD)

That's most of the drivetrain stuff, I have a LOT of work I want to do in the interior

Sounds great!

How much of that list do you hope to knock out by Brodeo time? I need to check dates and take a couple days off even if I just hang out and nap.

It'll be great to see you again!

I should have most of it done by the end of this month, hopefully leaving me two months to work on the interior

It's everything I wanted! Still have a lot of little things to fix, but I am so happy with this swap
Holy moly.

I got rid of my E34 530i when the anxiety of Nikasil failure became too much to deal with (and I really wanted a manual). Even though the 3.0L V8 is a little wimpy, I love the sound of these motors.

Been playing around with Dynosim6 in between Lemons races.

Bought something :getin:

Scheming on a custom intake manifold, all signs point to it being a major restriction.

The M60 derived Alpina 4.6s have some AMAZING head flow #s.

Like, F20C head flow #s.

A bit behind on the thread, but how exactly do you title this as a trailer and get trailer plates for it?

I love it, I just know with my luck I'd get pulled over constantly.

Indiana lets you title custom built trailers, and at low weights its supposed to be really simple.

Also I'm pretty sure you get 30 days after building it as a grace period, and I just finished it "yesterday"
