I had previously decided to max out strength, have 40 in armor and the rest into Dex. I'm wondering if I shouldn't just max armr in lieu of strength. Or, if the extra Dex will help me get through armor.

I'd argue the most useless stat is toughness because an additional 100HP or a total additional 4300 if you max out that attribute sucks. Depending on your main weapon your primary stat should be either Strength or Dex. Armor seems to be pretty good since it just negates damage outright from what I've heard. You could do a blend of armor + secondary stat or just pump both strength and dex, confident that you're doing max damage.

Yeah so playing with the options w/ discord made me realize how awful I am at setting up rights and permissions. For example, I don't know how to lock a text channel so that only select people can pin and edit it. If some intrepid goon who is playing this and is good at that wants to step up --- by all means. Good gaming tonight. It was fun grouping with people. Unfortunately our negotiations with House Dragons fell through and they lost one of their two fiefs. Maybe next time they'll take me up on my merc offer? Tbh it was too short notice to muster everyone. Anyone looking to get in on this don't hesitate. I enjoy helping everyone out in a battle and gain hero, unit and etc. XP.

I actually managed to play some last night. Now that I’ve unlocked a few more troops it makes sense why I was getting dumpstered once I ran out of my three units, everyone else had like eight troops to bring. I unlocked the poleaxe and it seems really good at mowing down frontline troops. Overall the game does seem to be getting better as I unlock stuff. Maybe some day I will be able to join in goon group. Thanks for the invite last night but I expected to walk away at any moment so I didn’t want to leave you guys high and dry in a fight.

I'm pretty sure there's some sort of scaling in team matches too. I was in there with them at level 17 and had no problem killing or defending against level 50+ dudes with all sorts of weapons. It was a really good time!

It's preliminary still but I did get our House a deal with a larger house to assist them in the next territory war. Our "pay" is contingent on whether or not they get a city (which is a requisite to form alliances, etc.) So this is cool.

Hellborg showed me the ropes tonight and we tried a proper shieldwall backed up by pikes. It works amazingly well, which is pretty rare to see even in more sim-y games like this. Check it out:   I'm amazed more Goons aren't jumping on this game yet, it's amazing. We kept trying this strategy out in crazier and crazier situations until we got completely and hilariously overwhelmed when we tried to take on a mob of like 500 guys (the entire enemy team). Ostaria is a poo poo show too but we have something brewing with our merc contract. Too bad the servers poo poo the bed.
