I've been going longsword and pollaxe. Messed with the glaive too. I'd only recommend that you pick weapons that keep you in your chosen armor class.

We have a chill alliance with a bigger house called Valeria. They hold a single fief and it has been fun taking and holding it with them. Feel free to join up with us since the territories are opening up.

Yeah the network stuff is well-known and if you're paranoid about it just turn off the peer-to-peer functionality. In other news, we have some cool poo poo in the works with another guild that could be pretty lucrative, but even the merc stuff sounds fun as hell. Last war we (I missed it) ran interference for our client, tying up a large number of their enemy's reinforcement troops and allowing them to take a feif.

If i am reading the patch notes correct, once the border lands opens July 10th you can change regions by going to the border fort and into the border land. Then go to the desired border fort that leads to the region you want to go to and enter that way. I already see the connections on the map, but don't know if they work yet.

The connections have always been there but locked down. They are opening up after (or on?) The 10th. You can travel regions then. Our merc outfit is currently going into an alliance with an 80 person house called Valyria. I've made sure that we retain our autonomy, which we have. We have a fief near a border castle our plans are: Take border castle or Take fiefs that are left defenseless if the border castles become a flashpoint (likely) If we can't do any of it and lose our fief we plan on just traveling out of Ostaria and striking out. Either borderlands or whatever the south of Ostaria region is called.

Wow, how have I missed this poo poo. Aside from the fact it's MY.com and I typically avoid their poo poo. I actually VPNed and tried the "Frontiers" servers and this is insanely fun. Completely Solo and Musket truly dumps on dudes, but for a free MMO from China I'm seriously amazed at how well build and thought out it's been. Plus the starter city is cool looking.

I am posting in this rear end-old thread because I think this game is really incredible and maybe there is a chance someone will notice that and decide to play it. Playing this with a small group of friends and literally cannot stop thinking about it. This game is secretly an RTS and a really drat good one with a fun unlock system and tons of replayability. I'd dabbled with it a bit in the past but finally buckled down and learned the game proper and I can see why a lot of people bounce off it (it's not anything like Dynasty Warriors or even M&B) but I don't think there's anything else quite like this out there.
