The main reason I think Adult Swim is in trouble is because aside from Rick and Morty and Venture Bros they don't have that many popular shows. And it looks especially not great since they're going to lose Family Guy and Bob's Burgers reruns to FXX due to the Disney buyout. If The Boondocks don't come to Adult Swim, they might not have that many shows to prop them up.
