I watched the first fifteen minutes of Scott Pilgrim ep. 1 and was going to turn it off because I wasn't interested in seeing the same story told with different jokes

I'm way more interested/invested in this, and I'm not an anime liker

For me it was the opposite, Frost is doing his "Danny Butterman" voice, whereas Pegg has a more generic delivery

I was extremely pleased and surprised to hear United States Of Whatever. I love that Anamanaguchi chiptune cover of "God Only Knows" though.

Dead Kennedys too I liked Lucas Lee immensely more for his music taste

Blue Eyed Samurai, however, is even better than this thread made me think it would be. Holy poo poo this show rules.

:haibrow: I dont like anime generally but Blue Eye Samurai was extremely banging. Writing, voice acting, animation, all top notch

late to the party but I'm on episode two of Scavengers Reign. Show's a hosed up mix of Aeon Flux, Fantastic Planet, & Nausicaa and I'm here for it

The most recent Invincible episode has a fun little meta commentary on how much a pain in the rear end and expensive animation can be. I always appreciate those.

:ssh: its also a callback to the book, because drawing out complicated comic book pages is a time-consuming pain in the rear end

I dont usually like musicals, but something about Hazbin hooked me. It also gets better after Episode 4

HelluvaBoss is just.. like that the entire time. It does nothing for me.
