It ruins some of the suspense for me, but I get that they are trying to get as many eyeballs as they can. I hope Matt and Ackbar actually get excited, unlike in 2014 where it got the "That's all the time we have on Nitro, we'll see you Thursday for Thu..." treatment. I'm guessing this was the idea behind the Speed Pass/Safety Pass concept introduced this season. Up the odds of someone completing the whole thing by giving people less work on the way there/a do-over if they fail.
