He obviously wasn't the only one to do it, but Corden's chatshow being designed into little perfectly viral pieces has slowly eroded so much of what we see now, particularly from late night and well pretty much most of what we see on TV that isn't scripted. A clip by its nature is something taken from a larger whole and the crafted fabrication of those moments leaves this horrible stench over the whole thing. Like if you take THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW as the other example yeah they post up clips on YouTube just like everyone else and it's the more traditional (with the risque element) chatshow stuff. But they kind of feel more organic somehow (Even though it's largely not) and everyone usually looks so much more comfortable on his show. I know booze is a factor there but Norton is underrated as someone who's really good at making celebrities relax. If Harrison Ford is having a fun time on your chatshow then you're doing something right.
