Yikes, KG, I remember your first thread and this was NOT the update I was hoping for.

17% on the RV is due to credit being a bit too low during financing.

So what’s considered a good rate on an RV loan as opposed to “credit a bit too low?” And what led you to decide taking on a 17% loan was the correct move for you over other options you had?

Did I really buy the ps4 while we still had payday loans?

Since you edited your OP from the first thread it’s a little hard to tell, but it wasn’t far after that if it was. From page 1 of your old thread:

I bought the Playstation 4 this week, so that's where the largest amount of that spending cash comes from. It's pretty much our Christmas present this year (more mine, I'll still get my wife something). The business expenses cost $193.00 so far, and made us $224.00 (gross). As stated earlier I also cut quite a few of these expenses which won't be reflected for the next few months (a quarterly bill hit us this month).

I can't remember what the payday loan was for, which sucks because it was a lot of money. It's been a couple months and we were only paying interest so we could have more spending cash. We haven't exactly needed it lately.

This is actually a good idea. Thanks. zaurg will remain confined to 3 threads in all of SA (BFC thread, Running thread, and TFLC thread). If I venture out anywhere else, ban me.

I don’t get why you have to wait for the 401k rollover to make either all or most of your budget.

Your budget should ideally (definitely) include a budgeted contribution to retirement, but that should basically be an outgoing line item, same as any other bill. You shouldn’t be looking at that as money you can touch.

Is there a chance everyone is projecting past me to current me? Factually past me would have that mortgage paperwork signed already.

“Past” you is current you until you prove differently. Actions, not words. :)

At the very, very least, you should separate Restaurant/Bar expenses and Grocery expenses out so you have an idea how much you’re spending there. I’ll let everybody else tackle the rest.
