just being able to have posters grow (and then a bunch of them getting mad figgies in the terrible programmer or the interview thread) is already putting yospos above 90% of other online communities in my book. Having the terrible programmer thread able to self-police into not being assholes to newbies, that we're able to have a lgbtqia+ thread the size it has where most folks are able to respect the boundaries of not getting involved when they have no business doing so, and so on, is pretty loving rare in this age of sexist and racist dumbfucks taking over all discourse elsewhere online.
