does anything ever come of (last BE chapter before time skip plot spoilers) jeritza and the death knight? there seem to be a lot of hints that jeritza wasnt actually him, but he never shows up again and even when the death knight joins you with edelgard no comment is made of him

makes me feel like that plot thread was cut or maybe they're saving it for dlc

It's a joke about how he has the same model as the generic soldiers, not saying that the original gatekeeper left and was replaced by his brother

Question. So, I just beat my first Fire Emblem game(this one) and this is the first game on the Switch I actually liked enough to play to the end, so that is pretty high praise. I am ready for my second play through and am curious on suggestions on which house to start on next.. I started with the Black Eagles based upon the fact that it was the most popular house in the thread poll, and despite it making no god drat sense and the game giving you 0 reason to do so, decided to stick with Edelgard because while the game gave you no loving information on how to make that decision, the game is Anime as gently caress so I figured it would be a good choice.

1. Which faction/path would you suggest I pick for play through 2, which had a story you liked more? Please try to avoid spoilers on the story, i'm looking for general suggestions on Blue Lions or Yellow Deer for the next round.

I did casual/hard the first time, I'm going to bump that up to classic/hard this time, now that I actually get how to play.

2. Is there any point to have the main character be anything but a sword user, given the sort of loot they get down the road?

1. just for the contrast, i'd suggest blue lions, golden deer's story is very different

2. not really since you can use a sword in any class you want, it's worth raising your skills in other weapons to recruit students or acquire skills/class certifications though

hilda will probably show up the most out of the second in commands for reasons i think are obvious
