in all seriousness tho i am hopeful that this thread can be more like the earlier gdq threads, where it's really active, but not to the point of being completely impossible to follow or hold any actual conversation in. the newer threads got way too fast and all the fuckin fanart made me kinda stop following the threads anywhere near as much as i used to. anyway this is the strongest day 1 they've had for like, a long time, so i am stoked.

I had a super sick burn about homemade plush toys and perlers but the donation incentives this year look way better than usual so it just doesn't seem like the right time. Special shoutout to Bit Brigade for donating not one, not two, but three albums as incentives at a very reasonable $5 entry. Highly recommend checking out their tour schedule if listening to game jams while watching their friend speed run games seems up your alley.

The problem is we had this thread for ages and just because things got out of hand once it has to be gone forever? It had become my favorite part of GDQ. And there are multiple potential solutions to this problem but people from other parts of the forums don't give a poo poo. They'd rather just shut down the fun for everyone. Its lovely and its seriously a disappointment.
