Has it really been nearly a month? My first ever speed run level: Buzzy Beetle Bustle (20s) XVD-Q6G-QMF SMB speedrun level that's fairly tight but otherwise hold run, jump, and right. Its first play was a first clear, if that gives you an idea of the difficulty compared to my other levels. Really Chilly Valley QR6-PC7-1CG Back to the kaizo-light, shells flying everywhere style in SMW. Reuploaded to fix a really tight jump. Fluffy Puffy Skies 8S6-7YL-LNF I guess technically I worked on this for 3 weeks? I mean not really, obviously, due to the two before it. SMB3 kaizo light. A new night airship level. These are fun to make! Silver Haze D2D-GBT-P1G Edit: reuploaded for a jank fix. I also figured out how to utilize shells that have weird inertia in this mode. You can see the setup twice after the first checkpoint--where you see a wall of turn blocks spinning. Thwomp Swamp VCK-8VX-CFG You'll probably notice this isn't on my account; this is a level I submitted to Quacken's Super World (4NC-FLY-C6G). It was supposed to be a collab, but I did the entire level myself, heh.... I also reused a lot of the tricks since I made this like 3 months ago. This was fun to make, and a lot of the setups feel like shell tricks translated into bounce form. I have turned into the big buzzy dude... Edit: REUP, code changed. Sorry! Fixed some indicators, made one clearer, and fixed a jank setup. Longish Lava Lair W5B-D3P-MPG It's an auto-scroller. Yep. Mysterious & Musky Manor 7TK-2DF-8MG Short level with remixed tricks from my last two big levels (Cosmic Cavern and Gentle Wash). A Chip Off the On Block YL8-LQH-XNG SMB shellish level with an on-off block gimmick. Man, I completely fell off the Mario train ages ago. Recently I looked into my levels and saw one of my levels had 79 attempts and zero completion, which made me feel kind of guilty, so I made a short, easy level next. Another fast and short one: Atmos Fear X: Cloud 9 ID 7HQ-C67-NWF This level was meant for World 2 of my Super-World. Recently I had to face the facts that another level I made a year ago, Atmos Fear 03, was blocking progress for everyone. No-one who tried Atmost Fear 03 in other a year managed to complete it. Which for sure makes me feel better about my own Mario-playing-capabilities, but it also meant no-one except me could get to the end of World 2. So this level is meant as a short reprieve, giving you some nice stuff and in general just allowing you to pass through to the World 2 Castle. Atmos Fear 03: Rocket Mania, is still there, but now it's a bonus level in World 2. If you get through it, you get a small bonus, but it won't completely block your progress if you can't finish it anymore. This also means an upgrade to my Super-World: -World 2 is now re-arranged with the new level so you can now actually finish it. -World 3 has been added, filled with some easier older levels plus a new one as placeholders until later. Some other things. -Tomato Juice Fortress isn't actually meant to be the castle of World 2, the real level is still only in its planning stages. -I'll try to do more this year so people won't have to wait a full year for 2 more levels, ha ha  My Super-World can be found with the ID: MNJ-N28-3TG

Since I thought it would be weird to just leave World 2 unfinished, I put in some more work to create a proper boss level. It's called Bowsernational Space Station ID: 92H-YTC-Q8G This level is based on the idea of what if Mario, but Mega Man? It also continues the story of my Super-World: Now Bowser has conquered the BSS and has already left. To continue the hunt, the player must now retake the BSS for the Mushroom Kingdom! In-game a bit less comprehensible of course, I only have 75 characters to work with, after all!  Also again, newest updated Super-World: ID: MNJ-N28-3TG Now Mario is in space, and soon (tm) I'll fill up the placeholders in World 3 with real levels! Have fun!!!1

It's been a while! Children of Koopa was a rough level to make, so I took a break then hit the ground running again. Cold Cavern & Frozen Forest 7HS-GCT-BTF SMB "Shell" Level. Admittedly, the opening small shell reclaim is a bit inconsistent. Super Snowball Bros. Y47-C7S-DPG Slightly different. A 3DW level based on snowball jumps. A Drop of Hot Sauce* HMG-CX9-NJG More or less a blue platform level. Survived popular weekly with a 3.26% clear rate--my highest in a while. Piranha Plant Plaza #TF RRD-L85-0DG When you see double arrows, hold right. A short kaizo in SMB3. You probably know what to expect at this point.

I wasn't happy with how a few of the levels in my super world turned out in regards to difficulty and polish. So, I've been booting up Mario Maker again to fix that up to where I like it. It's been two months since my last post! All of the following levels were made in the past month in a half. They're all kaizo or kaizo lite, of course. Newest first: Heat △ Cool ▼ #TF (CBF-VHQ-6KF) SMW kaizo level with a wacky setup or two. It's actually nearly all bounces, but has two setups that may take some tries to understand. 1CP. Sorry about the thwomp spawn jank. Distressingly Dank Demesne (38L-V2B-4XF) Misspelled title in-game. Yay. No, you don't need to do a shell jump in the beginning, just let go of run! 1 CP, short, generous checkpoint. Dost thou desire the Power-up? (FYX-3SJ-2XF) Another contest level. Second level in ages that hasn't hit popular. Castle of Chonk (LVP-PLK-LDG) SMB3 kaizo lite. 100% big shells all the time. 0 CP. Germinas Peak (XKV-97T-YLF) An SMW shell level. Another one that didn't hit popular--but it's a shell level, so it doesn't surprise me. Pipe Place in Space (6VS-CT5-HDF) Another airship night level! This one is cute. SMB1. The Purple Stuff #TF (S74-B0M-DJF) A "romhack" style level. Ish. SMW, no vertical scroll. Up, Down, and All Around (0FR-1HD-V5G) Another generic SMB3 kaizo lite level.

Not sure if anyone is playing this anymore, but I figured there might be some renewed interest after the GDQ race. I recently encountered a bug that another maker in my chat just so happened to encounter himself, and it makes me wonder how many other setups were affected by it: https://clips.twitch.tv/FaithfulAliveSharkJKanStyle-38cj4cli8FLV_2rw The summary of the bug is that certain objects, like springs, behave differently if there's another object onscreen that's above it. Not all objects cause it (enemies seem fine), but at least p-switches, POWs, p-switch blocks (likely either state), and vertical springs are affected. I finally managed to make a new level! Spacy Ways 1: Deep, Dork Space ID: 03T-LLV-HBG Coincidentally, this means my Super World got an update to include the new level: MNJ-N28-3TG 2 worlds are complete, the 3rd one now has one real level and a bunch of place holders. Instead of just placeholders. Progress!
