Electable means two things:
1. Popular with :decorum: junkies and centrists.
And
2. Someone Republicans will lie about considering voting for before pulling the Red lever regardless.

With so many people biting Bernie's policy ideas, I think he really needs to get aggressive.
You can attack someone without "going negative." He really needs to hammer home the fact that all of these ideas Harris, Warren, Pete, etc. are paying lip service to are policies he's been fighting for since the 80's, not something he's pretending to be in favor of now because he's a political weathervane like most of his competition.

Here's another example: employers routinely get away with paying H1B workers below-market wages. You know why? Because it is a mutually beneficial arrangement: the employer saves a few bucks, and the employee, whose visa is tied to their employment, gets to stay in the United States (even if they don't end up immigrating permanently, they often make a lot more money than they would in their home country).

That sounds an awful lot like exploitation.
"Gee, Juan, sure would be a shame to have to terminate your employment and send you back home. Most people would be grateful just to have a job at all in this economy..."

Good point. We may as well head all that off at the pass and just vote for Bernie. That'd save us all a lot of grief in the long run.

Thing is, by winning that debate, she's put a target on her back.

Yeah, most of the knives are still going to have Biden's name on them, but you can rest assured that there are a few being sharpened for Harris as well now.

Yeah, if Bernie can get the youth votes to turn out, that will affect the down ballot as well.

And like other posters have mentioned, Bernie won't just roll over and take McConnell's bullshit. He, along with AOC and the rest of the new Dem blood, will continue to actively call this poo poo out, which will help get the obstructionists primaried.

Nobody expects Bernie to fix the country overnight. Hell, not even in two terms.
But, he is pretty much the only person willing to even try to get the ball rolling with some actual momentum and not just a half-assed nudge.

What he represents is the first big step in paving the way for the Rashida Tlaib (sp?) and AOC's of the world to be able to step up and become the new normal so that we can finally drag America kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

That's the sort of poo poo that comes from thinking comics are based in reality.
Like, years ago, there was an issue of Fantastic 4 where Reed reveals that he got bored one day and invented a mathematical formula that could predict the future, and that's what that quote sounds like to me, someone thinking they're going to Fuckstein the math formula for omniscience.

You know, "Russia is interfering with the primaries" can be a factual statement without being the absolute 100% cause for any fuckery that occurs.
Hell, it may not even account for 10% of the fuckery, but it can still be one of many factors.

Just because something isn't 100% exclusively their fault doesn't mean they aren't still doing their part.

It might help, since Sanders and Warren will not have open FBI investigations...

At the risk of sounding :tinfoil:, I would honestly not be the least bit surprised if this ends up NOT being the case during the general.
I mean, I could easily see Trump trying to force an investigation on some imaginary charge to use as a distraction from his own fuckups, or because he's broke brained enough to figure it worked in 2016 so it'll work again.

Normal people will roll their eyes and know it's not even worth dignifying with a response, meanwhile CNN and Fox will both be blasting the headline "SANDERS/WARREN UNDER INVESTIGATION" nonstop.
