work used to run slack and s4b in parallel but then they blocked slack and introduced teams, still in parallel with s4b. I prefer s4b because it's terrible in a predictable and familiar way

at my company they have teams and s4b BUT they disabled integration so the only way to use teams is if someone else also installs it. this places the adoption rate at roughly 0.005%

the skype/teams integration doesn't work at all so people on skype will constantly see you online and attempt to send you messages but they'll go to your email instead of teams. i removed my s4b license from office 365 and now i don't show up at all in skype

Skype for business is terrible. I cannot conceive of a worse product

the name is also dumb and bad and makes it unnecessarily difficult to search for relevant information because the results get polluted with actual skype stuff. gently caress marketers forever.
