 In the late 00s there were a bunch of recreations of the same 60 second youtube video that went something like this

Boys at the doorway: "We're gonna go shoot some hoops, wanna come?"

Guy at his desk: "Nah man I've got to study for my test"

Boys at the doorway: "All right man catch you later" *exit*

Guy at his desk stares into space while Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls plays. Fade to black.

Help me, goons! Can't find the original or even a single imitation. I think it would have been about 2007 or 2008.

 Ok I KNOW there was a Lonely Island sketch where they’re on a stakeout with and one of them jokingly suggests “heh, what are we gonna do, suck each other’s dicks?” and then it happens over and over. Very fake moustaches. It ends with them chasing a perp as their pants are unzipped and falling down. Could be wrong about it being Lonely Island but I recall it being Jorma and Andy

I combed the “itt we’re on a stakeout” thread and didn’t see it posted

I have a "help me identify an album" that I have been trying to figure out for years.

In 2004-2005 my wife and I had just started dating. One of our firstish dates was to a tiny independent theater called The Palm in San Luis Obispo CA. Before the movie, they raffled off a CD (I believe it was a new release).That album became part of our early relationship soundtrack for road trips, sitting at the beach at 3am, and making up after nasty fights. I lost the album sometime and I would love to get it back.

Acoustic singer songwriter, male, kind of a faster paced style on some songs, lilting on ballads? The album art was black linework on a white background. I believe like a detailed city skyline kind of, lots of intricacies.

I associate like, the end of the world or the apocalypse to one of his love songs, maybe a whale on another one?

He was probably a local guy that never did anything again but this has plagued me for like 15 years.

Could it be The Decemberists - Picaresque?
