Last year's change where you couldn't transfer benefits if you were unable to do 4 more years due to HYT is just bullshit. Are you in a rate/MOS with lovely advancement odds? gently caress you, you don't get the choice to use this benefit you were promised even if you want to. That change has nothing to do with retention because it's denying the benefit to people who the military is choosing not to retain.
