The bass also uses a major 3rd at the end of every phrase. When combined with the minor 2nd, it gives the whole track that "exotic" Egyptian feel.

I'm 31! Aenima was the first album I listened to all the way through; I would listen to it over and over on family road trips in elementary school. I used to download Tool music videos on Kazaa or Limewire or whatever but they were too scary for my baby brain. I never really gave 10,000 Days a fair chance because Vicarious opens with the most boring, aimless riff of all time and by 2006 I was listening to completely different music.
