the idea with homogenized milk was it was the closest to “natural” fat levels and therefore good for kids. good for kids to refer to as homo milk. you can still get it around my neck of the woods i think but it’s not as popular as it was in the 80s

neurosurgeon appointment this afternoon, i'm of two minds about it. on the one hand i'm worried i'm going to need spinal surgery, but on the other hand i don't want to go through months of having my spine poked with needles that only end up prolonging the whole ordeal & would rather they just get any needed operations out of the way. i'm not well versed enough on how all this poo poo works to know, but it seems to be that nerve blocks and other injections won't reduce the disc bulge that's pressing on my spinal cord

so it’s not as bad as the mri impressions seemed to indicate. going to have epidural injection(s) in my cervical spine, and if that doesn’t help then an electric nerve conduction test is next, potentially leading to spine surgery

My lungs are rattling and I keep coughing up my life, called in sick and slept all day. Now I had to go out and shovel snow a bunch so I could get firewood and also so I can order food delivery BECAUSE IM TOO SICK TO GO OUT AND BUY FOOD. Thanks, climate change. Love getting 30 cm of snow at the end of April.(30 cm of snow didn't need shoveling. The 1 m in front of my door and in front of the wood shed that the plough left did.)

that is one of those interesting ones, in that i've been told it for 30+ years, and for sure ocean currents will change, but are models actually on point for this? sound like some kind of denier now, but where warming is an indisputable unidirectional thing that's happening the gulf stream is unstable fluid dynamics poo poo. i specifically take some interest as i can and would change my plans for life based on how sure such projections are
