Just starting the video and I noticed you had a lot of Kodama already. I could have sworn in an earlier video you said you had to find all of them for each major level.

LOA.test.subject.1... Red bloody grave. What? Also, Tokugawa Ieyasu being described as the ultimate survivor is pretty on the ball. Not to discredit his skill, cunning, bravery and a healthy share of luck but at the end of the day, his greatest success was outlasting his rivals while maintaining his power. He almost never took a risk he didn't need to take and was more than willing to bide his time and build his power slowly. Edit: There a lot more I would like to say about him but I don't want to jump ahead of the game here. cokerpilot fucked around with this message at 05:58 on Feb 5, 2020 |

Tadakatsu Honda is another interesting character supposedly he was never once injured on the field of battle even though he went out of his way to wear armor that would stand out from the crowd and basically put a giant bullseye on him. While he may not have ever been defeated in personal combat he did serve as a general in a few losing battles so he wasn't perfect either. To be fair though both major losses that he was involved basically either had the enemy army pen him and his units in place while the rest of the Tokugawa army was shattered or so badly outnumbered that victory was never possible, to begin with. He was well respected even amongst his enemies as well Toyotomi Hideyoshi was said to have been moved to tears by his bravery when he and a handful of men road out to try to contest him at a river crossing to keep his lords army from being attacked in the rear. Hideyoshi was so moved by the bravery of this basically suicidal maneuver that he ordered that no harm should befall him or his men. Tadakatsu Honda is also said to have wielded the legendary spear Tonbokiri which ruffly translates to Dragonfly Cutter. Named after an incident where a dragonfly was said to have landed on the edge of the blade and instantly cut itself in half. Interestingly enough his daughter was said to have a pearless warrior as well. Described as being as skilled and strong as she was beautiful Tokugawa also adopted her into his family as well. There is more to be said about her as well but that involves talking about the Sanada Clan and well... I imagine they will most certainly be coming up on their own.

Not sure if you can or want to do anything about it but at the very very end of the video Coolguye"s adiuo seems to suffer a major drop off.

It's interesting how hard a lot of media in Japan used to stomp on Mitsunari's image, who by all accounts was an ideal Samurai. Loyal, pious, intelligent, skilled, and honest were all traits associated with him. Now there are some records that indicate that he was overly blunt to point that he even had trouble telling white lies and there was a lot of jealousy over his treatment and status. But by all accounts, he earned everything he was given. I guess a part of it is a case of a holdover from the history is written by the victors but not entirely. Official Tokugawa documents don't go out of their way to slander the man. Rather if anything most official documentation and popular stories of that time period go out of their way to ignore him. He is brought up as little as possible though usually factual when he is. Admittedly what few popular stories and history were written in the time that had to describe him tend to depict him as a physically weak bureaucrat they still didn't dismiss his cunning. (After all, to imply him stupid would indirectly be insulting Tokugawa who had so much trouble with him) In recent years his reputation has seen a bit of recovery and he being portrayed a lot more sympathetically and heroically than he used to be but it's still odd how weirdly he has been portrayed over the years.

Still watching the episode but I wanted to comment that moment in New Londo was pretty Nito. Edit: That impatient blocking and jiggling RoboKy does remind of Coolguys many attempts to choke people in another lets play you guys did once. Double edit: Obsidanan Samurai!? And their guardian spirit! Is it? It is Yasuke that's so cool. (Also drat but you made that fight almost look easy) cokerpilot fucked around with this message at 01:37 on Apr 23, 2020 |

Part of the reason you got a helmet from Shibata Katsuie is that while those other retainers revenants might have been at least semi-important names they're not ones you would be at fault for not recognizing them. Shibata Katsuie, however, is kind of a big name as one of Nobunaga's most trusted warriors and generals.

Battle of Hitotoribashi which is mentioned in this video was a hell of a fight that you should look up just to understand some of the shenanigans that Date Clan got up to.

That ending... from the disappointment of you clowning on One eye to the really neat fight against Maria followed up with a teaser of "Japan's greatest samurai" hell of a rollercoaster there. I have a lot to say about Sanada Yukimura but I will wait.

I will keep following you guys even if you don't keep posting here. I guess I need to figure out how to get Discord to work where it doesn't severely lag or crash my internet. Also, how are you going to handle the Characters and Memories lore parts? Are you going to keep updating the OP with them or link them in the video description on youtube?
