Also worth remembering the most heinous (and ergo funny) part about these people are their reprehensible morals. Turning it into dunking on poo poo they can't help instead of the poo poo they can is pretty grody.

Comedy Gold: thinking you have the moral high ground because you are Edward Elric or Edward Elric's Lawyer of a fan of either and using this opportunity to self own in hilarious and expensive ways. Not Funny: not being conventionally attractive and getting laughed at over it because its "aimed at bad people" or whatever

Being rich is a pathology and makes people think in stupid nonsensical ways. In the same sense that having a billion dollars is good cuz it's a high score even though that amount of money is actually totally worthless, losing money for absolutely any reason drives them insane. No Vic's probably not gonna get poor housed over this but if you think stuff's funny now wait til you see his epic forever meltdown once he loses and has to pay up.

Bin Shimada? That's not a "white guy name". I don't think those kind of DBZ fans even really want to acknowledge it's a Japanese series period.

Funimation did similar with Panty and Stocking, the dub of which I refused to watch because they turned a joke about Panty liking sex into "haha Roman Polanski rapes children ad we gave him money". I'm a pretty staunch proponent of being liberal as hell with translations but there's gotta be limits or you're just making an awful thing.

It was the episode where Panty made a movie that was secretly just porn and the dub said "We spent a lot of money to get Roman Polanski out of the country so he could direct this for us" which was said, you know, right when his extradition stuff was back in the media. It's dated and gross and unnecessary.

I'm sure the defense lawyers are seeing the same case we are and informing their clients that mediation is favored towards them. That and Ty being dumb make me think there's not much chance this ends well for Vic

Given that Vic's been completely silent thus far so he can go to 3 people cons I really don't think he's gonna pipe up now.

brutally destroyed by being allowed to work again and being told working for gay anime is "humiliating" while youre given access to all the resources and young women you had before, but this time cuz you voice yaoi. truly the height of embarrassment.

just watch fmab illegally and then youre not giving vic money by watching him, which is the only angle this conversation could even possibly matter or have any consequences in. its that simple.
