more people need to watch FCS football, by the way, it's loving hilarious Sam Houston State's dismantling of Oklahoma Panhandle State tonight was really something to see, there were five turnovers in a row early in the first quarter and nearly a sixth. This included Panhandle State botching an attempted forward pass so badly it turned into a lateral, which they fumbled, and later in the same drive (after recovering a Sam Houston State fumble) fumbling the ball in the end zone and allowing the defense to recover it for a touchdown. I’m glad that starting in the 2nd quarter UGA decided to blast their FCS opposition and by the end of the 2nd we started putting in our freshmen and walk one to get actual game practice. Also Pickens is going to be a killer WR and I can’t wait.

Maryland looks pretty good. I didn't give Penn State @ Maryland any thought before the season, but it's a night game in three weeks (after a PSU bye), and the team can't afford to start like they did against Buffalo if they want to win that game. I only mention Nebraska because of the messiah hype around Scott Frost. That was a really tough road win for LSU. I know their quarterback looks like an aging Macaulay Culkin, but the kid is tough.

I don't know, I don't see Pruitt as being the problem. Vols just have a team full of players that look like they've come from the moon and have no idea what football is. You shouldn't have to coach common sense, like Taylor just let his guy walk by on a hail mary play, why would anyone who's ever seen a game of Earth football think that's a good idea?
