I was wondering why the Panthers/Buccaneers game started on Friday but then I noticed the month/day format & the times and that's when I realized we're dealing with some dirty foreigner poster.

With all this hype I totally expect Miami to cover, like the Pats squeak by on a 17-14 win this on a last-second field goal.

Nah, the Broncos were -26.5 against the Jags in 2013.

That was the year Manning was roflstomping the League.

The Jets are holding kicker tryouts today to replace Vedvik. This guy is there. gently caress it. Get him in, get Carli Lloyd in. I dont care. Just make a PAT.

If it was anyone other than Saint Big Dicholas I would say that Gardner "The Shoe" Minshew is an upgrade. Just a side grade now and he is still a rookie so I'll say only 4 TDs.

Could the Jags have a second HoF QB on theirr roster? I'd say he's a 'shew in. :haw:

The Belichick coaching tree is a disease vector... but the Patriots ALSO lost to lame-rear end Lions and Titans teams coached by ex-Pats doing typical :effort: ex-Pats poo poo, and crapped the bed in Miami last year.

Tinfoil hat theory which i 100% dont actually believe will happen

Andrew Luck is going to stay in retirement up until the point where hes eligible to join any team again

By this time, Brady will be done. Luck signs with the Pats.

I want to say this never happens? I have nothing to back this up other than a random memory of a rumor Barry Sanders might come out of retirement like 5 years after he was gone but the Lions wouldn't give up his rights.

if a team signed carli lloyd to be their kicker i would become an unironic fan of them for the rest of the year because having a world cup winning kicker would be dope as hell.

too bad we have jake elloitt or the eagles might've tried to get her to do a formal tryout. she's a fan after all!

Quick Reads is out, all hail Dak, who was more good then Winston was bad: https://www.footballoutsiders.com/quick-reads/2019/week-1-quick-reads

273 - Dak
201 - Lamar Jackson
168 - Mahomes
151 - Case Keenum
139 - Brady & Carr

-83 - Cam
-88 - Kyler
-93 - Trubisky
-101 - Baker
-222 - Winston

Kyler:

quote:

By DYAR, Murray was the worst quarterback in the first quarter, third-worst in the second, and second-worst in the third ... but then the best in the fourth quarter and overtime. In those 25 minutes, he went 20-of-29 for 238 yards with two touchdowns and a sack. Only two of his dropbacks in this game came from under center. He was sacked on the first one and threw an incompletion on third-and-4 on the other.

Baker

quote:

Through three quarters, Mayfield was comfortably among the top 10 passers of the week, but he was far and away the worst passer in the fourth quarter/OT. In the last 15 minutes, he completed six of his nine official pass attempts: three to his own team (for 21 total yards) and three to Tennessee. He also gained 16 yards on a DPI but lost 16 yards on a pair of sacks.
