Ok but in the meantime he shouldn’t be allowed to play football. Release him and if he’s somehow vindicated (he won’t be) then some team can sign his rear end. Innocent until proven guilty means we don’t throw you in jail it doesn’t mean you get to make millions playing a game.

Off the field he runs a charity promoting childhood literacy as he struggled with learning to read while growing up and couldn’t do so at a functional level until much later than normal. He’s written a couple children’s books. One time at an autograph signing in his rookie year at the Pro Shop a little kid wanted to buy his jersey but since he was a 4th round rookie they obviously didn’t print any of his so he spent $250 out of his own pocket to get the kid a custom printed one to then sign.
