I’ve been poor, I’ve been either housing insecure or straight up homeless most of my 20s. I’m only living decently now out of sheer luck, and even then, all the traumas and horrific experiences have left my brain super hosed up. it’s... incredibly cruel that we do this to people, that we have so many vulnerable people with no end in sight.
