Revolutionary Traditionalist Lastgirl posted:the biggest issue is how cities promote car culture and vice versa because of lovely urban design of the last century and atomizing communities through suburban and highway projects I think the optimal idea is to have cities free of car culture, with high(ish) density living and fully walkable with a solid public transit network. As much as I dislike the downsides of apartment living, such as having noisy people way too close to me, and limited space, I think it's the best way forward.
