Any idea why this wand just makes a sound like a wet fart and doesn't do anything, no matter what spells I add to it? I'm either missing something really obvious, or it's a bug.  Edit: This is on the beta branch. Edit2: Saved and restarted the game, and now it works. Looks like a bug. Also, with this particular wand, you can't actually mouse-over the stats, because the stat box is too far to the right and up, and it goes away when you try to move the cursor over, since the cursor leaves the wand text box at that point.  @Hempuli, you don't have PMs...let me know if you want a save game. aas Bandit fucked around with this message at 21:44 on Oct 5, 2019 |

Okay, an enemy, in a game like this where you can die in seconds, that hits you once and literally blinds you--like the screen is literally black except for brief flashes of visibility every few seconds--eats a whooole lot of poo poo. I had a pretty powerful wand and nearly 150 health still left after clearing most of the coal pits through slow and careful play, saw a dude approaching that I hadn't seen before, got zapped, and was dead in roughly 10 seconds because I couldn't see anything. Holy gently caress; that's terrible.
