Deceitful and black-hearted, perhaps we are. But we would never go against the Code. Well, perhaps for good reasons. But mostly never.

Mindy's house is literally right next to where they've been the whole time

In any case they've likely been frozen when the experiment ended just like the other two

I feel like "Them in Mindy's house, reacting to the Eleanor/Chidi tape, then getting frozen" is a strong contender for next week's cold open.

All the victims in the Bad Place are really Janet babies; the real bad people got memory erased and are the demons, torturing each other.

I feel like give Derek a button he absolutely should not press is a canonically bad decision and no possible set of instructions to him could fail to make things worse.

Every soul that enters the Good Place is perfect, so they are immediately Retired. Whoever broke the points system was the good guy.

Shipping off the effective members of the good team, to be replaced presumably by the useleaa good place management team, before anyone has actually passed the test seems like are restart of the same situation we started with. With the demons now being more subtle and effective.

It's not clear, but I think that all the whiteboard gimmes got in. If they hadn't yet I think team cockroach wouldn't be ready to leave. (Or expect Prince to get in before them.) So there should be a small building crowd of new souls...

The Good Place will turn out to be bad, but in the end they'll realize that everyone should eventually get in to the Disco Place.

I think they'll land on "What's the point of being good if you aren't still able to do good."

It's consistent for the show to have not used the word Nirvana, but a bit stranger that this discussion hasn't. Nirvana door, not suicide door.

There probably should also be a reincarnation door beside it though.

The Meta ending: they walk through the door and it's Mike Schur sitting in a chair, and they have a little chat.

It's tough to keep paradise working when more than one person is involved.

For example, what happens when Simone arrives? Creating a near-duplicate Chidi, forcing Simone to not want to be with Chidi, or forcing her and Elanor to be enthusiastically okay with any particular arrangement all don't seem right.

A beariny is simultaneously about a year and an eternity, which makes much more sense now than when it was introduced.
