One small thing that I didn’t like about the finale was the joke that Brent was taking a long time to learn how to be a good person.
It felt like a mean joke considering that the last time we saw him, he finally understood how much of an rear end in a top hat he had been, while the last time we saw Simone and John they were leaving a person to die.

Brent had a brief moment of realization but that isn’t going to make him a good person in and of itself. They pointed out that the important thing was that he had become better by the end of the test even if he was still a long way from being good.

He's more emotionally intelligent than the rest of them, and his stories about his dance crew often contain the wisdom the crew is looking for. I just rewatched the Time Knife one, and Jason convinces the Judge to take a tour of Earth to see how hosed up it is with a story about his dance crew.

He's above all the stakes because he's too dumb to understand how much danger they're in, so he's good comic relief.

He’s also got a certain zen quality to his personality in that he’s utterly incapable of thinking more than 1 step ahead. He exists completely and totally within the present moment and that moment is the only one that matters to him at all times.

It’s not a fluke that he was first introduced as a buddhist monk.

I think if the show wins, she gets an Emmy.

Producers get statues when a series wins. The Emmy website doesn’t have the breakdown of exactly who that is for 2020 but she’s listed as a Co-Executive Producer for the 2019 awards.

A beariny is simultaneously about a year and an eternity, which makes much more sense now than when it was introduced.

Don’t forget the dot which is Tuesdays, and also July, and sometimes never.
