I seriously quit playing Fable as soon at it chided me for smashing a barrel. Any game that will let me smash barrels but will bitch every time I do it is no game for me On another note, a fan sequel to The 7th Guest I kickstarted awhile ago actually came out today. I don't have high hopes for it because really the game they're trying to capture has not aged well, but I have a ton of fondness for that game and they got the guy that played Stauf back so at the very least it with have that.

So hey folks how is everyone doing today? I finished up that book Double Booked for Death last night, I'm satisfied with the ending in the sense that there was an ending that wrapped everything up even if it was pretty dumb and suffered from the main character and her ex-cop friend acting very stupidly in and their neighbor also acting very stupidly, all in ways that should have gotten them arrested multiple times over. Funnier still is how every time the main character discovered something new about the case through her own hard work and effort, she found out shortly afterwards that the detective already knew this stuff because they had already investigated into it. So at the end of the day, the main character was just a nosy bookstore owner who has poor taste in friends and neighbors and is surprisingly okay with revelations such as "my kind little old lady neighbor has been breaking into my store and apartment every night while exclaiming 'oh my gracious' while in search of her and her brother's victorian pornography she had loaned to the previous store owner" and "hey let's harass the guy who likes to crossdress and break into his apartment and we're gonna keep harping on him crossdressing because we think he is the killer because he not only is the victim's brother, he also crossdresses."

I know some people have been confused by Kojima's "Strand game" phrase. Norman Reedus gave an interview about Death Stranding and he explains what the game is about that I think will clear things up for everyonequote:The human interaction you have with this character, and you meet other people who are having the same interactions, and you are building something instead of breaking something down — there’s elements of horror in there, elements of action and adventure, but there’s also an element of connection. The connection, especially in today’s world with social media, it’s not a negative experience. It’s an only positive experience with the horrors of monsters and death and everything around you. It’s really a great communication device, and not just uplifting. If you want to empower people, you involve them in the conversation. This game is empowering in that way. It’s a whole new concept, and it’s super fascinating. And beyond all that, the graphics are just crazy.
