How can a bog-standard shooter from the brown-era of video-games be better or worse than the previous title? Though I remember Condemned 1 was a classic hobo-punching simulator while Condemned 2 was nonsense. It's odd looking at any one studio's output and see they did entire series one after another that are hugely different in direction: Insomniac did Spider-Man after Resistance, Monolith did FEAR before Shadow of Mordor, Naughty Dog did two cartoon-mascots before going into Indiana Jones and Oscar bait. The now-dead Irrational followed SWAT 4 with Bioshock and Valve devolved from shooters to releasing a P2W card-game to show their utter disdain for players.
